The Founder's Story
Peyton Burke, CPA
Peyton Burke is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the Idaho Society of CPAs. He earned bachelor’s degrees in Accounting and Management from Utah State University before completing his Master of Accountancy at Auburn University. Since beginning his career in tax and accounting in 2020, Peyton has worked with individuals, entrepreneurs, small businesses, real estate investors, and high-net-worth clients, helping them navigate complex tax and financial decisions with confidence.
After seeing firsthand how many accounting firms focused solely on preparing tax returns instead of helping clients make informed financial decisions throughout the year, Peyton founded Regal Accounting in 2025 with a clear mission: to provide proactive, year-round accounting and tax advisory services that help clients minimize taxes, build stronger businesses, and make smarter financial decisions.
At Regal Accounting, tax planning isn’t something that begins a few weeks before a filing deadline; it’s an ongoing process. Peyton believes the best financial outcomes come from consistent communication, thoughtful strategy, and trusted guidance throughout the year. Whether you’re growing a business, purchasing real estate, planning a major investment, or preparing for retirement, having a CPA involved before important financial decisions can often save far more than simply filing an accurate tax return afterward.
Regal Accounting combines modern technology with personalized service to make accounting as convenient as possible. Clients can securely upload documents, review returns, sign forms electronically, and meet virtually, eliminating unnecessary office visits while still receiving responsive, personal service. This flexible approach allows Regal Accounting to serve clients throughout Idaho while also working with individuals and businesses across the United States.
Peyton believes a CPA should be more than a tax preparer; they should be a trusted advisor who helps clients understand the financial impact of every important decision before it happens. Too many business owners view taxes as an annual event, when in reality the greatest opportunities to reduce tax liability come through proactive planning throughout the year. By combining tax preparation, tax planning, bookkeeping, business consulting, and ongoing financial guidance, Regal Accounting helps clients stay compliant, uncover opportunities, and move toward their long-term financial goals with confidence.
Your Empire.
Our Expertise.
That’s not just a tagline. It’s the commitment behind every return we file, every book we keep, and every conversation we have with our clients.
Our Values
What We Stand For
These aren’t words on a wall. They’re the standard we hold ourselves to in every client engagement, every filing season, and every conversation.
Client-Centric
Your goals drive every decision we make. We listen first, advise second, and never push a service you don’t need.
Proactive
We plan ahead, flag opportunities early, and make sure tax season is never a surprise for us or for you.
Transparent
Fixed fees, clear scope, no hourly billing surprises. You know exactly what you’re paying and what you’re getting.
Expert
Every engagement is led by a licensed CPA. Your work doesn’t get handed to a junior staff member or shipped overseas. It stays with us.
Credentials & Qualifications
You're in Expert Hands
Choosing a CPA is a decision built on trust. Here’s what underpins ours.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
A CPA license requires passing the rigorous Uniform CPA Examination, meeting educational requirements, and fulfilling ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure. It is the highest credential in the accounting profession.
Idaho Society of CPAs (ISCPA)
Membership in the ISCPA connects us to the statewide network of accounting professionals and holds us to the profession’s ethical and educational standards. It’s a signal of commitment to the field of accounting.
Confidentiality & Security
All client data is handled with strict confidentiality consistent with CPA professional standards. Document sharing is conducted through secure, encrypted channels. Your financial information is treated with the discretion it deserves.
Continuing Education
CPA licensure requires ongoing continuing professional education (CPE). We stay current on tax law changes, IRS guidance, and accounting standards so our advice always reflects what’s true today, not what was true last year.
How We Work
The Regal Approach
The best accounting relationships feel less like a vendor and more like a trusted colleague who happens to know everything about your finances.
We Lead With Listening
Before we offer a single recommendation, we take time to understand your situation, your goals, and what “success” actually means to you. Advice is only valuable when it fits the person receiving it.
We Work Year-Round
Tax season isn’t a sprint; it’s a year-round discipline. We check in proactively, flag law changes that affect you, and make sure planning happens before deadlines, not because of them.
We Keep It Secure and Simple
No fax machines. No drop-off appointments. No misplaced paperwork. All documents are exchanged through secure, encrypted channels and signed digitally. Working with us is designed to be as convenient as possible, from wherever you are.
We Speak Plainly
Tax and accounting language can be dense. We make it a point to communicate in plain terms what it means, what it costs, and what you should do next, so you always feel informed, never confused.
