Terms of Service
Last Updated: [REPLACE WITH DATE] • Effective Date: [REPLACE WITH DATE]
These Terms of Service were drafted based on standard professional services firm practices and Idaho law, and have not been reviewed by a licensed attorney. Before publishing, have this reviewed by an Idaho-licensed attorney. Pay particular attention to Sections 9, 10, and 11 (disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification), which are the most legally significant.
1. Agreement to These Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Regal Accounting PLLC website at regal-accounting.com (the “Site”) and any services accessible through it. By visiting the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and anyone who accesses or uses the Site.
2. Who We Are
Regal Accounting PLLC is a licensed CPA firm based in Twin Falls, Idaho, providing tax preparation, bookkeeping, financial advisory, and related accounting services to individuals and businesses nationwide. We are licensed by the Idaho State Board of Accountancy and are a member of the Idaho Society of CPAs (ISCPA).
3. No Professional Relationship Created by Website Use
Visiting this Site, reading its content, or submitting a contact form does not create a CPA-client relationship, an accountant-client relationship, or any other professional relationship between you and Regal Accounting PLLC.
A professional relationship is established only upon both parties executing a separate, written engagement letter that defines the scope of services, fees, and responsibilities. Until that engagement letter is signed, no confidentiality protections under IRC Section 7216, the AICPA Code of Professional Conduct, or other professional standards attach to your communications with us.
Submitting a contact form or booking a free consultation makes you a prospective client, not a current client. Free consultations are exploratory conversations and do not constitute the delivery of professional services.
4. Content for General Information Only
The content on this Site — including but not limited to blog articles, tax tips, deadline calendars, glossary definitions, downloadable checklists, and any other educational materials — is provided for general informational and educational purposes only.
This content is not professional tax advice, accounting advice, legal advice, or financial advice. It does not account for your specific circumstances, financial situation, or the laws of your jurisdiction. Tax law changes frequently, and some published content may not reflect the most current legal or regulatory developments.
Do not rely on the content of this Site to make tax, accounting, legal, or financial decisions without first consulting a qualified professional about your specific situation. If you need professional guidance, please contact us to schedule a consultation.
5. Tax and Financial Disclaimer
Tax and accounting are complex, fact-specific matters. General information that applies in one situation may not apply — or may have significantly different consequences — in another.
Neither Regal Accounting PLLC nor its owner shall be responsible or liable for:
- Any action taken or not taken based on the general informational content of this Site
- Errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in website content
- Changes in tax law that render published content outdated or incorrect
- Results of applying general tax principles to your individual circumstances without professional review
- IRS penalties, interest, or assessments arising from reliance on Site content

9. Disclaimers
THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE AVAILABLE AT ALL TIMES, UNINTERRUPTED, FREE OF ERRORS, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED OR THAT THE SITE IS FREE OF INACCURACIES.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, REGAL ACCOUNTING PLLC AND ITS OWNER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THIS SITE OR ITS CONTENT, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THIS SITE OR ITS CONTENT SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL FEES PAID BY YOU TO REGAL ACCOUNTING PLLC IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00).
Important note: This limitation of liability applies to your use of this Site and its general informational content. Liability arising from professional accounting and tax services provided under a signed engagement letter is governed separately by that engagement letter and applicable professional standards and liability laws.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Regal Accounting PLLC and its owner, officers, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising from or related to: (a) your use of this Site; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law or regulation; or (d) your violation of any third party’s rights.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any legal action or proceeding arising from or related to these Terms or your use of this Site shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Twin Falls County, Idaho. You hereby consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts and waive any objection to such jurisdiction or venue.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or severed if modification is not possible. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
14. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Regal Accounting PLLC regarding your use of this Site and supersede all prior agreements and understandings relating to that subject matter.
For clients who have signed an engagement letter, that engagement letter governs the professional services relationship. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and a signed engagement letter, the engagement letter controls with respect to the professional services described therein.
15. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Site after any posted changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
